PPLH Bohorok held an event to celebrate World Orangutan Day 2023. This event was held on 23-24 August 2023 and invited students from all senior high schools in the Bohorok district.

On the first day, Echa (Vet at SOCP) and Mahyana (Researcher at YEL) shared their profession in conserving the orangutans. Face painting and cooking classes are also held on the first day as fun activities.

The students continued the second day with a study tour to Mount Leuseur National Park, photo hunting, and orangutan creation content challenges on social media.

This event participated by the representative student of  SMAN 1 Bohorok, SMA-SMK Pemda Langkat Bohorok, MAS Baiturrahman Bohorok, SMA S Wathaniyah, and MAS Bani Hasyim.
